The evening begins with bus pickup at 'Ann's Volcanic' at 5.30pm. A traditional welcome
at the village, followed by
a walk through a replica Maori
village Te Tawa Ngahere Pa ,
where proud warriors present
skills and costumes of pre-European
New Zealand. Next, enjoy the
highly entertaining (and informative)
concert. Time for dinner? A
buffet banquet cooked traditionally
on hot rocks in an earthen oven.

MAORI VILLAGE SETTING AS STAGE FOR CONCERT ‘n’ HANGI AND KIWI BIRD TOUR COMBO
A traditional welcome is followed by a concert on a stage setting showing a Maori Village in olden days. A sumptuous hangi follows and a night walk along glow worm banked bush to see the kiwi bird in its natural surroundings .

GEYSER AND BUBBLING MUD TOUR , CONCERT IN MAORI MEETING HOUSE AND HANGI COMBO
Visit the thermal attraction complete with geyser and mud pool tour , see the Maori Carvers at work and see a kiwi bird in the Nocturnal kiwi house. Then, after having worked up an appetite from your walk; enjoy a seat in the beautiful carved meeting house to watch the Maori concert and afterwards a gorgeous hangi is served buffet style

Crater Rift caused by the 1886 eruption.
Continue south past the Steaming Cliffs
of Waimangu Volcanic Valley. Return
to Rotorua over the Blue and Green
Lakes, the geysers of Whakarewarewa
Thermal Reserve, and Rotorua City.

RAFTING

THE
KAITUNA RAFTING EXPERIENCE
Grade 5.The Kaituna boasts the
Highest Commercially Rafted
Waterfall (7m) in the World.
In fact, there are 3 waterfalls
among the 14 rapids; two smaller
waterfalls to practice on before
attacking the 7-meter drop named
Tutea Falls. Age Limit: 10 years
(half river experience) or 13
years for full experience and
must fit safety equipment. We
provide wetsuits, fleeces, booties,
buoyancy aids, and helmets.

THE RANGITAIKI RAFTING EXPERIENCE
Grade 4. A full day adventure on the
Rangitaiki river. You will experience
14km of thrilling rapids, time to
enjoy the spectacular scenery, followed
by more thrilling rapids. A picnic
style lunch of freshly made filled
rolls, fruit, biscuits, chocolates
and hot and cold drinks are also provided.
